I keep forgetting to send this…
Last week I got a call from a buyer at 7:30pm asking me to return his call at my convenience. I called him within 10 or 15 minutes because I was on my way home from showing property. During our conversation he said he was on Realtor.com, came across my name and 12 or 13 other agents but since I was the first to respond… I had his business. He had also emailed each of the other agents AND called them. I was one of the last that he called.
I offered to pull off to the side of the road to get his info and criteria but he responded that there wasn’t any need because he had emailed me his contact info (as he had the other agents) and since it was late, I could call him tomorrow when I got into the office. He promised to be “loyal” since I was the only one that returned his call.
Well, the next morning I called. He still hadn’t heard from anyone. To make a long story short… he and his family flew into town this week and are purchasing 2 homes. One for him and his wife (a retired couple) and one for his son and his family (who is being relocated to Bonita Springs). When I asked how many agents responded to his calls and emails…. I was the only one!
It amazed me! Thank goodness that they didn’t…. I got two great deals because they were too lazy to pick up the phone…. What a waste of their marketing dollars but MINE PAID OFF!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Steve,
I just wanted to share my first success story with the new buyer assist program.
I connected with a buyer in one of my local markets. I have showed him a couple of homes and he is preparing an offer to purchase on a $850,000 home. Hopefully, it will result in a commission. Glad to have gotten this lead that I wouldn't have had otherwise.
